You are not broken. You are becoming.
Somewhere between achievement and exhaustion, many high performers lose touch with themselves. Life looks full on the outside. Yet inside there is a quiet tightening, a restlessness, a fear that does not match the life they have worked so hard to build.
In SPARK, Faith Foo guides you into the inner world that shapes every reaction, every decision, and every moment of feeling inexplicably stuck. Drawing on Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR)-informed practice, grounded neuroscience, and years of sitting with people at their most honest, she reveals how the nervous system carries old protections long past the point they were needed, and what becomes possible when those protections are finally allowed to soften.
This is not a book about fixing yourself. It is a book about returning to yourself ⍟.
If you have ever felt like you were shrinking inside a life you worked hard to create, this book will help you understand why, and begin to change it.
Faith Foo is the founder of D Spark Lab, a private leadership practice in Kuala Lumpur. She is an EMDR-certified therapist, trauma-informed practitioner, and EMDR-Inspired Transformation Coach who works privately with leaders, founders, and high-performing professionals in Malaysia and internationally.
Her path into this work began as a counsellor, drawn not to obvious crises but to the quieter suffering beneath polished exteriors, the tension hiding inside high achievement, the exhaustion that lives inside responsibility. She pursued EMDR certification because she found that insight alone, however deep, was often not enough. The people sitting across from her understood their own histories. What they could not always do was get their bodies to believe they were safe.
Over years of practice, Faith developed what she calls D Spark Lab Framework, a structured yet deeply attuned approach to nervous system transformation. Her work sits at the intersection of trauma-informed practice, somatic awareness, and leadership development.
She is the author of I Love You, I Hate You, The 3 S'Elves and The Long To-Do List (with co-author Iso K.), and the Burnout Recovery Guide. SPARK is her fourth book.
